The Security, Functionality, & Usability Triangle!
The level of security of any system can be defined by the strength of these three components:
1. Functionality: This refers to the set of features provided by the system.
2. Usability: This refers to the GUI components used in designing the system for ease of use by a user.
3. Security: This refers to the restrictions imposed on accessing the components of the system. One of the advantages is to prevent unauthorized access to the system or information disclosure.
Increase or decrease in any of these three components affects the others.
The three components are supposed to be balanced!
